The State Fair of West Virginia, with an $8.9 million dollar economic impact on Greenbrier County, is a 501 © 3 non-profit corporation committed to the traditions of agriculture, family, entertainment, and education.

The State Fair is goverened by a State Fair Board of Directors and Advisory Board.  The Board is comprised of area business people and citizens concerned with keeping the "Traditions You Treasure" positive and worthy of the thousands of fairgoers that we welcome each year.

Sponsorship Opportunities -

Our marketing and advertising strategies are based on a core belief that success depends on partnerships with strong media and retail co-promotions.  While cash sponsorships are improtant, we're jsut as concerned about the promotional value offered by a sponsor program; the opportunity to leverage the Fair's advertising budget, and the value of the sponsor program to the fairgoer.

Example of Benefits:

Investment = $3500 for weekday or $4000 for weekend day

Benefits:

• One (1) 15/ x 15' tent (provided by the Fair; to include set-up/take down)
• One (1) banner permitted on tent (provided by sponsor)
• Complimentary gate admissions (13 for weekday or 16 for weekend day)
• One (1) banner at Bridge Gate (#2) and one (1) banner at US Route 219 North (Gate #5) with the specific location to be the best for visibility as determined by the State Fair
• One (1) preferred parking pass valid for the promotional day
• Five (5) public address announcements throughout the day
• Logo in the daily events section of 5,000 official fair inserts (inserted in newspapers in Charleston, Beckley, Clarksburg, Princeton/Bluefield and Roanoke, VA)
• Logo in daily events section and web site, www.statefairofwv.com, as well as link to sponsor's web site
• One (1) press release written about the sponsor by the State Fair

The State Fair has grown over the decades, and continues to remain faithful to the founder's vision as evidenced by its mission: "To produce a quality fair, committed to the traditions of agriculuture, family entertainment, and education; and to develop non-fair events that utilize the existing facilities, that create opportunities for growth, and that benefit the community served by the facility.".

The new State Fair Endowment will ensure long-term funding to suport three key areas:

• Scholarships & Career Advancement Initiatives
• Youth Educational Enrichment Programs
• Agricultural Premiums & Competitive Exhibit Premiums
