Monday, August 11 will feature "Grandstaff" on Center Stage at 11 am, 2 & 5 pm. "Grandstaff" is comprised of the Reid cousins. They are energetic, enthusiastic and above all very, very talented. Featuring outstanding harmonies, which is an inherent trademark from their fathers, Harold and Don Reid, members fo the Statler Brothers you are sure to love their sounds of country and gospel. Visit Center Stage on Sunday, August 10 to witness all of the excitement of the WV Recipe Challenge. The Recipe Challenge is for entrepreneurs who have dreamed of taking
their product to the grocery store shelf! The Grand Prize for a new
entrepreneur is a package of goods and services, culminating in the
opportunity to bring their final product to market.
Also taking Center Stage on Sunday, August 10 at 4 & 6 pm is Jack McDavid. From his distinctive southern drawl to his trademark duds - denim bib overalls and a red & white turcker's cap - heralding "Save the Farm", he is a "good ol' boy" with a unique recipe for success. Following up their performance in the State Fair Grandstand from Monday evening, "Monument" will take Center Stage on Tuesday, August 12 at 11 am, 2 & 5 pm. "Monument" is a group of very talented young men who have found a new
spring in their step! Singing a variety of music styles including, but
not limited to country, pop, patriotic and gospel; all capped off with
a hefty dose of comedy. They use their high energy, humor and God
given talents to entertain their audiences and have become a favorite
at fairs, festivals and corporate events all over America.

The State Fair of West Virginia is proud to present our second Celtic Celebration on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 with activities taking place from 11 am - 7 pm. Both days will be filled with traditional Celtick kid's games, Celtic themed merchants and will showcase music performances by "Mother Grove" and "Davy Morrison with The Chanty Wrasslers".
