Accessibility -The State Fair of WV is completely accessible by way of paved walkways, handicapped parking, wheel chair ramps/access to buildings, special drop off area for disabled guests, handicapped seating and interpreters for Grandstand performances. During our annual Fair, we are proud to work with Vista Mobility for your various rental needs:
Vista Mobility will be conveniently located by the Main Entrance to the Fairgrounds immediately off of the FREE parking area. Look for their tent behind the ticket booths. Traveling from East of Lewisburg, West Virginia:
Travel time from Roanoke, Virginia; approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Travel time from Convington, Virginia; approximately 30 minutes. Traveling from West of Lewisburg, West Virgina:
Travel time from Charleston, West Virgina; approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Travel time from Beckley, West Virginia; 40 minutes.
Lodging -When visiting the Sate Fair you have many choices for lodging. Whether you prefer to camp with friends and family, or the comforts of a hotel, you will find many options. Camping:
Public Camping Sites with Electric: Campers who previously camped at one of the 40 electric only sites, have been given first option for these sites for the 2010 State Fair. Campers wishing to be added to a waiting list for these sites should contact the Fair in writing via e-mail or by mailing a letter to - PO Drawer 986/Lewisburg WV/24901. All areas are patrolled by security on a regular basis. Complimentary shuttle rides to the main entrance of the Fairgrounds from the camping area run daily. For patrons who are interested in being considered for a full hook up space, an application is required. Hotels, Inns & More: For our out of town guests that would like to explore other lodging options, including hotels, inns, bed & breakfasts or cabin rentals, please contact the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau. We encourage you to make your plans early as many of the local lodging accomodations regularly sell out during the State Fair.
